Our boy in now ONE!!!!

This day last year Hudson entered into our lives. We have been so blessed through the addition to our family. He is so energetic and full of live. God has been teaching us so many things in our parenting journey. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUDSON. Here are some pictures of the birthday boy. We will be having a party for him this Saturday, so we will post more pictures after.

Dinner always tastes better with a hat on! Hudson loves to wear his "hat". If you tell him to put on his hat, he will look around until he finds it and then he will put it on his head. Simply irresistable!

Hud loves the park. In fact, whenever it is time to leave the waterworks begin. We love that he enjoys the outdoors and I hope that his desire to be outside will never change.

Thanksgiving

Hudson spent his first Thanksgiving in The Woodlands. We had a great time relaxing and hanging out with family (we missed those that weren't able to make it this year). Hudson had a blast hanging out with some of the older kids, he definitely wants to be one of the big kids - mom and dad just aren't quite ready for that yet! Here are a few pictures from our holiday week.

Halloween

We never posted any of the pictures...so here they are (better late than never). We spent most of our trick or treating time walking very very slowly. Hudson decided that he did not want to be in his stroller.

Look, Hudson's Delirious!

We wanted to share with you one of our favorite moods that Hudson gets in...delirium! It's a little too easy to make him laugh during these times. He seems like such a little boy most days, but in instances like these, he reminds us he's still our baby.

P.S. Take note of the awesome move he does about 5/6 of the way through. It's a leg-kicker toward the chest with synchronized arm flails. (Thanks to Audrey for pointing such hilarity out.)

P.P.S. Also take note of the last laugh, it's a paralyzer! Dad's favorite type of Hudson laugh.

Goal Accomplished!!!!

So, my 1/2 marathon is over! Everything went really well. God provided us with unbelievable weather, a little warm towards the end but nothing to complain about. I ended up running the whole thing in 1 hour 57 minutes and 33 seconds.

We shall see if there are any more 1/2's in my future....the last few miles were tough and I was wondering what made me sign up, but the sense of accomplishment is great. I am not one that generally sets goals, so for me to set a goal and achieve it is a big deal. Christian has been so encouraging through this whole process and even brought Hudson to help cheer me on today. Now, I think I will go take a nap (that is if Hudson doesn't wake up for a while!)
