Part 2

The 2nd 1/2 of the trip was spent at an east coast city with our cousins and their 3 (soon to be 4) kiddos. We had a fantastic time doing life with them. We are always challenged and encouraged through our conversations. They have truly been a huge blessing to our marriage and we very much value our relationship with them. Here are some of the pictures from our time with them.

Malachi enjoying every last bit of his ice cream; don't we wish we could all do the same?

At the Great Wall

We went to the part of the Wall where it drops off into the ocean.....amazing!

What a terrific trip! I must say that this trip was one of the best trips we have ever had.

HOME AGAIN!!!!

Well, we made it home safe and sound. We had a wonderful trip. Hudson did unbelievable considering it was the first time he ever flew. The 13 hour time difference was no big deal when we got there (unfortunately, now it is a huge deal).

The first part of our trip was hanging out with some friends. We had a great time just hanging out, reconnecting and getting to see how their lives are day to day. We hung out at the coffee shop, went to an english corner, walked around one of the university campuses near the coffee shop, and played tons of games. Here are a few pics from the first part of the trip.

OFF WE GO..........

.........well actually, we leave tomorrow morning for the other side of the world. We are very excited about getting to spend time with friends and family. Please be thinking of us over the next 2 weeks as we travel half way around the world with an almost 8th month old (who by the way is crawling all over the place) and for the time we will be spending with friends and family. May this be a time of encouragement for them and for us also as we hear of all the different things going on. We love you and we will see you in 2 weeks.

The Past Week

This past week we had almost all the flooring in our house redone. I must say that the guys that did the work did an amazing job, they finished everything in only 4 days....props to them!

Even though they did such a great job, the whole process was a little difficult for Hudson and I. Because we were doing such a huge part of the house, Hudson and I didn't have anywhere to go (his room was full of stuff from the rest of the house). The first 2 days we spent out and about and when we were home we just played on our bed. The last 2 days they were working in our room so the bed was out. All I can say is that Hudson is a trooper and all 3 of us have survived. Here are a few pics of the renovations.
