Christmas

This Christmas was so different than our previous ones. The obvious reason being that we now have a new addition to our family. We spent the week in The Woodlands with my family. Everyone was in town, something that has not happened in a very long time. We felt truly blessed to be surrounded by so much family.

As we watched the kiddos, I couldn't help but think that this was the same way that our Christmas's with the cousins must have been like so many years ago. I forgot what a joy it was to watch little ones enjoy the excitement of the holidays. As you grow up Christmas takes on such a different feeling that sometimes it takes being surrounded by little ones to remind you of the past.

We loved having Hudson with us this Christmas even though right now he has no clue what is going on. We are excited about getting to teach him the meaning of Christmas and sharing this special time with him as he gets older. Already we like he has gotten so much bigger, sometimes I feel like I am looking at a little boy rather than an infant. What a joy it is to watch children grow and learn....I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for our family!
