Plano International Festival

On Saturday we went to Plano's International Festival. It was a little chilly, but we had a great time. We desire to teach our kid's about other cultures and pray that they will have a heart for the nations....so we were super excited to be able to go on Saturday. We got there early enough to watch them march in all the different flags, it was so neat to see all the countries that were represented and the people take pride in their countries. There were tons of different booths set up, a food court (with many types of foods) and a fantastic childrens section with all sorts of crafts representing different nations. Hudson was not super excited about all the crafts, he just wanted to watch other people.....Maybe next year, but I was finally able to get him to go inside the fire truck:)

Garland ISD College Day

Towards the end of Sept. Garland ISD had their College Day and so we decided to have the whole family dress up. Our whole family has dressed up the last couple years, so here we are all decked out in our A&M gear......now only if our football team was doing a bit better.

Quick update

I must be honest...I feel a little overwhelmed trying to update since my last post. So I will just recap a few of the things going on.

~Parker

-now a little over 8 months
-She is crawling ALL the time
-loves to stand
-loves her big brother
-enjoys playing in Hudson's room and the bathroom (if you aren't watching she will
take off down the hall and end up either in Hudson's room or the bathroom)
-claps and sometimes waves
-her 1st tooth started pushing thru yesterday
-very SMILEY and a joy to be around
-doesn't need as much sleep as her brother (this is a hard one for me)

~Hudson

-takes gymnastics once a week and has a great time
-enjoys ALL sports
-loves to play with Parker (but is very selective as to which toys she can play
with....we are working on this one)
-is enjoying going to school
-pretty much potty trained (except naps and night)
-full of energy but still loves to just sit and read
-in to coloring
-very protective and proud of his sister (this melts our hearts)
