Gymnastics Exhibition Day

At the beginning of June, Parker had her gymnastics exhibition day. It was a little overwhelming, for her and the rest of us. The whole family was excited to see all the different things that she has been working on and she was anxious to show us. When we arrived Parker was a little shy because there were so many more kids than what she is used to and it was an "open gym" format. Basically, she could go and do whatever she wanted and we got to follow her around. Hudson loved getting to do a few things and Elijah had more fun just getting in the way of others. Christian and I had a blast watching her. It brought back some random memories from my gymnastics days (so long ago!). Man, this girl is STRONG and fairly fearless. Going slow and taking her time is not one of her strengths (at least not on beam) and that is no surprise. I am thankful for this outlet for and so glad that she loves it so much. And one day, if she doesn't love it anymore, we will find something else for her and I will be just as excited.
